Hotel Guaranducha Inn

Know our history

The Hotel Guaranducha Inn, located in the heart of the historic center of Campeche, has a fascinating history that dates back to the pre-Columbian era of the 16th century. Founded in 1531 by the Spanish conquistadors, the historic center still preserves its dazzling colonial architecture, which is still present in our hotel, which in turn has witnessed the evolution and charm of our historic walled city.

Originally, our hotel building was a colonial residence that later became a small lodging for travelers. Over the years, it has been renovated, adapted and modernized to offer a comfortable and welcoming experience to our guests, while maintaining our authenticity and historical character.

From its terrace, guests can enjoy panoramic views, colorful colonial facades and cobbled streets, as well as the iconic Cathedral of Campeche and the Iglesia del Dulce nombre de Jesús. In addition, the strategic location of our hotel allows easy access to the main points of interest, restaurants and shops in the area.
